Dragoljub Damljanović

Dragoljub began his career during the 90’s, working as a professor at Belgrade Polytechnic Academy. Soon afterwards, holding a degree in electrical engineering, he obtained a position of a designer of power networks, plants, and public and decorative lighting in Elektrodistribucija Beograd. In 2002, he becomes a Director of Public Utility Javno osvetljenje, which is responsible for management and maintenance of public lightning system of the city of Belgrade.

A year later, he becomes a Director of Planning and Analysis Department at Elektrodistribucija Beograd. He was responsible for city’s distribution network development planning, technical documentation, development, and comprehensive investments of Elektrodistribucija Beograd. At the time, several significant investment facilities were finalized, as well as around hundred substations for improvement of customer supply in Belgrade.

At the end of 2004, he becomes a part of Schneider Electric. He was initially employed as a Sales Engineer, but only a year later he becomes a Sales Manager for Partners, then Sales Manager for Projects and Services, to become a Power Consultations Business Vice President in 2010. From 2012 to 2016, he’s been holding the position of Schneider Electric Country President Serbia & Montenegro. He was promoted to Energy & Field Services VP for South East Europe at the beginning of 2016.

In the middle of 2020, Dragoljub becomes a Digital Grid Sales VP within Schneider Electric, and in January 2021 further advances to CEO of Schneider Electric ADMS Software Research and Development Center in Novi Sad. Ever since the company’s foundation in Serbia in 2002, Schneider Electric has grown to a company hiring more than 1,000 employees. A strong network of partners with which Schneider Electric cooperates in Serbia and Montenegro is crucial for Schneider Electric’s long-term success on the local market.

Since 2014, he’s been a Member of the Supervisory Board of OTP Banka (former Société Générale), Belgrade. In 2015, he becomes a President of the Managing Board of the French-Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Serbian Association of Managers' (SAM) Managing Board, and he became a President of the Association in 2020. He is the winner of the Serbian Association of Managers award for "Manager of the Year 2017" and the award "SAMPLE - for promoting and understanding leadership among young people 2018."

Dragoljub was born and raised in Belgrade. He has a son Đorđe and is married to Aleksandra. He enjoys spending time with his family, loves history, good music, and the company of friends.

The Board of Directors is the executive body of the Association that is responsible for implementing the goals of the Association, which are determined by this Statute.

The Code of Ethics aims to bring the members of the Association, as well as all other managers in Serbia, closer to a wide range of ethical principles and standards by which they will be governed in their professional lives and which will help them in everyday decisions, and situations of conflicting interests.
