Executive Office

Executive Office is the organizational core of all SAM activities and projects. In coordination with the Board of Directors, the office is responsible for strategic planning, communication with the Government, media representatives and Government institutions, management of finances, supervision of projects, mobilization of members and the organization of events.

Maja Piscevic - Executive Director of the Serbian Association of Managers and President of the Managing Board. She graduated in International Law, Law School, University of Belgrade, as well as Acting, Drama School within Academy of Dramatic Arts, University of Belgrade. Maja passed the Bar Exam in 1990. She was an Attorney-at-Law, primarily Commercial Law since 1988 until 1990. She was Chief Legal Advisor of MPC Holding from 1999 to 2002. Before joining SAM, the last seven years she spent in the office of USAID for economic development, the position of Senior Economic and Legal Advisor - Project Management Specialist. Maja led Commercial Law program, Competitiveness project, the Economic Policy and Legal Reform Initiative, Trade Policy Initiative, the Commercial Court Reform program, and Bankruptcy and Enforcement Strengthening Activity, and the project of joining the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Jelena Bulatovic - Deputy Executive Director. She graduated at the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade, in 1997. After graduation, she was employed as an Export-import Associate at Energoprojekt - Visokogradnja for three years. From the 2000 and on, Jelena worked for a range of international organizations.  Before SAM, she was employed for 6 years in USAID, Economic and Growth Office where she worked at position of Banking and Financial Specialist and was in charge of managing  US Government economic growth projects.

Melinda Marinovic - Office Manager. Melinda has been working as SAM's Office Manager since February 2007. She attended the Faculty of Philology at the University of Belgrade and is currently pursuing her final year at the Belgrade School of Business. Additionally, Melinda attended a number of trainings and professional development courses throughout her career. Previous to SAM, she worked at the Economic Section of the Hungarian Embassy in Belgrade as well as for several local NGOs.

 

 

Tanja Lazarevic - Administrative Assistant in SAM Executive office, graduated at Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade. Her professional development began in the Si & Si Company, at position of Public relation manager, responsible for external and internal communication of the Company. After three years in Si & Si Group, she started working in the company Product, continuing her work in marketing and PR. Prior to joining the Association, Tanja spent a year in the HR consulting firm AMROP Adria at the position of Research Manager. 

 

 

Milos Djuricanin - Coordinator of SAMPLE (Sections of perspective young leaders), graduate of the Faculty of Business Studies, Megatrend University. His professional development began in the SAM in 2008. as an office assistant, then he worked a year for AGROPRESS as a project manager. At the same time, for the past three years, he worked for the international organization AIESEC, were he was in charge of project development and corporate relations. He was also working for different organizations and companies mainly on developing online communication channels.
