Projects
Serbian Association of Managers in cooperation with CIPE (Center for International Private Enterprise, US) implements the project Advancement of the Business Environment for Private Sector Development in Serbia. Primarily, this project aims to improve the dialogue between the public and private sector through active participation towards creating a framework and recommending solutions via consensus between key businesses, academic and political stakeholders, in areas critical for further reform efforts.
Within this project, Serbian Association of Managers has organized four roundtables with the Government of Serbia:
1. First Roundtable „Competitiveness of the Serbian Economy - challenges and opportunities" - on October 20, 2008.
2. Second Roundtable „ Serbia in 2009 - growth, stagnation or recession"- on March 16, 2009.
3. Third roundtable „Illiquidity: actual problem or a good excuse?" - on October 8, 2009.
4. Fourth Roundtable „Economic Cooperation in the Region of Former Yugoslavia - Challenges and Opportunities" - on November 30, 2009.
For 25 years, CIPE has worked with independent, voluntary business associations, chambers of commerce, business leaders, business focused and think-tanks and NGOs. CIPE's key program objectives are strengthening these institutions that advance economic reforms and to increase business participation in policymaking - voice of business
